On March 27th, please join the founding Board of Directors at the California State Capitol (Eureka Room), for food, wine, entertainment, and above all to meet with each other as new and prospective members (more than 100 already since officially opening the doors March 1), to honor local and regional women of influence, and to share our collective ideas for how to make the Sacramento Area Women’s Chamber of Commerce as good as it possibly can be.
We will be presenting the foundational platform of our organization, what we stand for, what we hope to achieve, and seek the input of every guest and member about how we can best serve women in our region, how we can best play a role in the catalyzing and development of women of influence to benefit our region, and how can we best collaborate with existing business, trade, and service organizations in a way that enhances our communities, our region, and our state.
SAWCC was founded to connect, develop, support, and promote women of every age and diversity in our region toward greater positions of influence, to accelerate their achievement in positions of innovation and leadership, with special emphasis in helping more women secure leading and influential roles in Next Economy and STEM sectors (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics), and in economic development, job growth, education, investment, and social benefit roles. We are a part of the U. S. Women’s Chamber of Commerce network.
We’re about collaboration, partnership, open doors, open minds, and triple-bottom line thinking (sustainability, profitability, and innovation). We’re about standing up, being who we need to be to be responsible and responsive influencers in our region, and about enabling and empowering others.
Come find out more about what we’re up to and share yourself and your ideas for the future.
