Preliminary Results: Women and Influence Survey
On March 26th we launched our very first survey at our inaugural event at the California State Capitol, hoping to begin to understand who women are who are connecting to the mission of the Sacramento Area Women’s Chamber of Commerce, who seek greater influence, and who want to either help by or benefit from increasing opportunity for women in C-level and board positions, in entrepreneurship, in leadership in government and the community, and in those sectors where the majority of job growth is expected to come from within the Capital region. What do we really need? What do we really expect? How can SAWCC best serve those needs?
As of May 20, 201: 73 women have responded. This survey will remain open and we will continue to share live results as they are tabulated and updated. See link below. A full report will be made in August at our business reception (data and location coming soon) and through this website.
Trends are emerging. Please share this survey with all the women in your network. The more we know, the more powerful and effective we can be together. Thank you for participating!
*This survey was developed by Tracy Saville, a founding board member and Chair of the Marketing Committee. In the future, results will be analyzed against available academic and market-level research that is of a qualitative and quantitative value to understanding how best to position SAWCC to benefit ad serve its members. SAWCC is interested in collaborating on future survey and data collection activities. Questions? Feel free to contact her at 916-717-3250, or at firstname.lastname@example.org.
